THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE.
The issuance of $47,000,000 of bonds for the construction, acquisition, rehabilitation, renovation, expansion and equipment of school buildings (including, but not limited to, new instructional spaces at the junior high and high school, renovations and improvements to other school facilities, and any necessary or related removal of existing facilities), and the levy and imposition of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the costs of any credit agreements.
Texas State law requires the phrase “THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE” to be on every school bond measure ballot, regardless of the overall effect on taxpayers.
